Current:
Leigha is excited to be playing Juliet in Starcrossed, inspired by Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet for Gulfshore Playhouse. This condensed adaptation of Shakespeare’s tragedy will be in association with the Naples Philharmonic. The production will take place September 2026 in Naples, Florida.
She is also thrilled to be returning to her character Julia, in a new SAG comedy short Save the Children, which will be directed by Brian Gladstone, written by Jake Goldin, and produced by Berraco Pictures. This will be the group’s second collaboration together, having worked together on Berraco’s short SAG comedy Fender Bender last fall. Fender Bender is currently in the festival circuit, and will be seen next at the 25th Annual San Diego International Film Festival this October 2026. Save the Children will be shooting September 2026, in New Jersey.
Recently, Leigha joined the cast of His Name is John, a SAG short drama written and directed by Amber Karlins. Set in 1940s Poland, the film centers around a couple who sheltered a Jewish child during the war and must face the impossible when his biological parents return to reclaim him. Leigha played Irena Sendler (Supporting Lead), the Polish resistance fighter whose work with Żegota helped save thousands of Jewish children from the Warsaw Ghetto during the Holocaust. The film was shot April 2026 in Central Florida.
Leigha will also be returning to her role as Brittany (Lead) in The Moment: Part 2, a second installment of choose-your-own adventure features, produced by Distant Moon Productions. Shoot pending 2026.
About:
Leigha is originally from North Carolina. She attended the selective senior year high school drama program at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. While still in high school, Leigha was a National Semi-Finalist at The English Speaking Union's National Shakespeare Competition held at Lincoln Center in New York City, was nominated by her school board and chosen to attend the North Carolina Governor's School Summer Conservatory studying Theater with a focus in Theatre Composition.
She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Juilliard School's Drama Division.

Annie retreats to her childhood home, but instead of finding comfort, she’s met with old memories and unresolved pain that drives her to seek answers to Sasha’s death. In the midst of Annie’s grief that begins to pull her under, an unexpected friendship with her elderly neighbor, Bear, might be the key to bringing her back to life. Directed by Marisa Camplin, produced by Michalina Scorzelli (Dolly, Bad Man) and Cerulean Productions (expected 2026).
Dark Soul River (Lead), a SAG independent thriller feature that follows a serial killer's last days, and the discoveries that emerge from his conversation with his last victim's brother. Leigha plays Alana Kimball, a young and hungry FBI profiler, eager to give grieving families, and herself, some closure from the murders that have haunted them all for more than a decade. Written and directed by Vijay Rajan (expected 2026).
Entropy (Lead), a horror feature that follows two sisters' investigation into their absent father's remote mountain house. Leigha plays Grace, whose security is threatened by the events that transpire at the mysterious cabin. Written and directed by Casey Cross (expected 2026.)
Instinct of Fear ( Supporting Lead), a new SAG independent psychological thriller feature set in Chicago, about a photographer who thinks she's attracted a stalker when she appears in the photos of an anonymous film development order sent into her lab. Leigha plays Emilie, the protagonist's best friend and business partner at the photo lab. Written and directed by Matthew Brdlik, produced by Jake Bloom (expected 2026).
Chatham (Series Regular), a new SAG TV series written by Amber Karlins, directed by Sonia Blangiardo (CBS - Beyond the Gates), and produced by Michelle Romano and Roman Media. Leigha plays Katie Coleman, a high school student navigating new friendships and town mysteries. Shot between LA and Cape Cod, Fall 2024-Spring 2025, announcement expected 2026.

Fender Bender (Supporting Lead), a SAG short comedy directed by Brian Gladstone and written by Jake Goldin, was completed in 2026 and is currently making its way through the festival circuit. Following a successful premiere at the Coney Island Film Festival, the film has screened at the Long Beach Underground Film Festival, the Hamilton NY International Film Festival, and the Hudson Valley Film Festival. Brian Gladstone and the film also won Silver in competition at the Young Director Awards. Upcoming screenings include the Breckenridge Film Festival in September 2026, and the 25th Annual San Diego International Film Festival in October 2026. Leigha plays Julia, the girlfriend who is tired of waiting for her boyfriend Gabe to take the next steps in their romance.
To Write The Ending, (Lead) a SAG short film written and directed by Shaler Keenum successfully premiered at the Dam Short Film Festival in Boulder City, Nevada, February 2025! The film won Best Student Short at the El Paso Media Fest, and placed third in the Graduate Film and Video Competition at The Broadcast Educational Association's Festival of Media Arts. To Write The Ending has subsequently played at the Julien Dubuque International Film Festival, DIFF Shorts, the Chattanooga Film Festival, the Kansas City Film Festival, the Waco Independent Film Festival , the Flatland Film Festival, the Lake Charles Film Festival, and the El Paso Film Festival , the Ridgeway Film Festival , the Amarillo Film Festival , Chandler International Film Festival (winner - Best Student Filmmaker), the Utah International Film Festival, Prison City Festival (winner - Next Gen Award, Best Student Film - Graduate), Fargo Film Festival (honorable mention - Student Category), Georgia Shorts Film Festival, the Scorpius Film Festival (winner - Best Original Score). The Austin Short Film Showcase (nominee - Best Student Short), and the short's international premiere at the Birmingham Film Festival. Leigha plays Cassiopeia, a barista who accepts an unexpected date offer that alters time as she knows it.
The Moment: Part 1 - The Party (Lead), a choose-your-own-adventure feature, has also won awards at several competitions including Platinum Honors at MarCom Awards, and a Webby Award for Best Multimedia Storytelling.
