Leigha couldn't be more thrilled to be joining the cast of His Name is John, a SAG short film written and directed by Amber Karlins. Set in 1940s Poland, the film centers around a couple who sheltered a Jewish child during the war, and must face the impossible when his biological parents return to reclaim him. Leigha will be playing Irena Selder (Lead), the Polish resistance fighter whose work with the Żegota helped saved thousands of Jewish children from the Holocaust. Shooting will take place in April 2026, in Central Florida.
Leigha is so excited to have recently completed filming on The Way We Feel, a SAG independent drama feature. Leigha plays Annie Miller (Lead), whose world comes to a standstill after the sudden and unexplained death of her younger sister Sasha. Annie retreats to her childhood home, but instead of finding comfort, she’s met with old memories and unresolved pain that drives her to seek answers to Sasha’s death. In the midst of Annie’s grief that begins to pull her under, an unexpected friendship with her elderly neighbor, Bear, might be the key to bringing her back to life. Directed by Marisa Camplin, produced by Michalina Scorzelli (Dolly, Bad Man) and Cerulean Productions. Shot September-October 2025.
Leigha is thrilled to be part of the cast of Fender Bender, a SAG short comedy about a couple whose relationship takes a hit, literally, by none other than the boyfriend's therapist. Leigha plays Julia (Lead), the girlfriend who is tired of waiting for her boyfriend Gabe to take the next steps in their romance. Directed by Brian Gladstone, written by Jake Goldin, and produced by Berraco Pictures. Shot August 2025.
Leigha is happy to be working on Chatham, a new SAG TV series written by Amber Karlins, directed by Sonia Blangiardo, and produced by Michelle Romano and Roman Media. She plays Katie Coleman (Series Regular), a high school student navigating new friendships and town mysteries. Shot in LA and Cape Cod, Fall 2024-Spring 2025, announcement expected 2026.
Leigha is thrilled to be returning to her role as Brittany (Lead) in The Moment: Part 2, a second installment of choose-your-own adventure features, produced by Distant Moon Productions. Shoot pending 2026.
About:
Leigha is originally from North Carolina. She attended the highly selective senior year high school drama program at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. While still in high school, Leigha was a National Semi-Finalist at The English Speaking Union's National Shakespeare Competition held at Lincoln Center in New York City, was nominated by her school board and chosen to attend the North Carolina Governor's School Summer Conservatory studying Theater with a focus in Theatre Composition.
She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Juilliard School's Drama Division.

Entropy (Lead), a horror feature that follows two sisters' investigation into their absent father's remote mountain house. Leigha plays Grace, whose security is threatened by the events that transpire at the mysterious cabin. Written and directed by Casey Cross (expected 2026.)
Instinct of Fear ( Supporting Lead), a new SAG independent psychological thriller feature set in Chicago, about a photographer who thinks she's attracted a stalker when she appears in the photos of an anonymous film development order sent into her lab. Leigha plays Emilie, the protagonist's best friend and business partner at the photo lab. Written and directed by Matthew Brdlik, produced by Jake Bloom (expected 2026).

To Write The Ending, (Lead) a short film written and directed by Shaler Keenum successfully premiered at the Dam Short Film Festival in Boulder City, Nevada, February 2025! The film won Best Student Short at the El Paso Media Fest, and placed third in the Graduate Film and Video Competition at The Broadcast Educational Association's Festival of Media Arts. To Write The Ending has made other festival rounds, playing at the Julien Dubuque International Film Festival, DIFF Shorts, the Chattanooga Film Festival, the Kansas City Film Festival, the Waco Independent Film Festival , the Flatland Film Festival, the Lake Charles Film Festival, and the El Paso Film Festival . Upcoming showings include the Ridgeway Film Festival (October 2025), the Amarillo Film Festival (October 2025), and the short's international premiere at the Birmingham Film Festival (November 2025) . Leigha plays Cassiopeia, a barista who accepts an unexpected date offer that alters time as she knows it.
The Moment: Part 1 - The Party (Lead), a choose-your-own-adventure feature, has also won awards at several competitions including Platinum Honors at MarCom Awards, and a Webby Award for Best Multimedia Storytelling. Leigha plays Brittany, the popular high school senior who aids sophomore protagonist Emily in finding out the kind of person she wants to be in the world. Make your choices and play Part 1 here.
